Anders Pals is one of the founders of Willow Tree Capital and a senior investor with extensive experience in raising funds and investing in a variety of high-tech and mobile start-ups.
As the co-founder and vice president of growth and business development for Fogg Mobile, his extensive achievements here include securing funding of over €10m, sourcing and negotiating contracts with internationally renowned software and hardware tech giants as Hewlett-Packard, Samsung and Huawei.
Anders has worked for a multitude of tech companies starting his career in Digital Equipment Corporation, one of the pioneering software and computer companies, where he secured partnership agreements with early internet players such as Cisco, 3com and Cabletron during the internet dotcom boom years in the late nineties.
He has held various global management roles in sales and marketing across the tech industry including positions at DEC, Ericsson Telecoms and Acision, the inventor of SMS technology. He was also one of the founders of Fogg Mobile, the world’s first global data MVNO, sold to GlobeTouch in 2014.
In 2015, Anders Co-founded Silverlight Global an investment fund listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. Anders also serves as a Director on the board of DSX Global, a trading exchange for digital commodities.
He holds various board and advisory roles in a number of startups where he has invested and holds Non-Executive Director roles in a number of others.

Peter has over twenty-five years experience in high profile companies such as IBM, British Telecom, Capita & Logica CMG holding positions such as Account Director, Channel & Partnership Director & VP of Sales. He has also been CEO & a founding member of a number of start-ups in the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.
Educated at Queens University, he attained a degree in computer sciences and an HND in Computer Technology. In addition he holds certifications from Cranfield University in CRM and Life Coaching skills. Peter is currently affiliated to Catalyst Inc (a NI Government backed start-up incubator), where he has established himself as an Entrepreneur in Residence, mentoring Pre & Post-revenue companies who are seeking Angel or VC investment.
In addition he has invested privately with a number of companies where he holds Non-Exec Director positions, advising them of further investment progression and strategic business development.

Mathias Thomsen is a senior executive with extensive deal making experience in the TIME industry. Mathias has assisted multiple companies with fundraising from Seed to Series X as well as leading buy and sell mandates across multiple industries and continents via supporting everything from start-ups to major companies in foremost the Kinnevik Group. Mathias has actively worked with companies in 40+ countries in Europe, APAC, Africa and the Americas over the last 15 years.
In addition to above experience, Mathias has been Founder of Capt a, a Silicon Valley based mobile video company, Co-Founder & CEO of Fogg Mobile, a mobile broadband operator with operations in the US, APAC and Europe merged with a Bay area based company in late 2014. He has also been Partner and Head of the Telecom practice at Applied Value Group, a Boston based management consultancy company as well as Co-founder and COO of ProcureITRight (PIR), a Swedish based procurement company serving mainly Tele2, Millicom and MTG in the telecom and media sector.

Victor joined Willow Tree in February 2016 after leading business development for Sports Technology startup Fanmode for 3 years. His achievements here include deals with Tier 1 sport teams, a partnership with the world’s largest eSports organisation Electronic Sports League (ESL) as well as co-managing fundraising. Prior to Fanmode Victor graduated #1 of his programme in International Business & Management from Westminster Business School in London.
Victor is currently a mentor at Startupbootcamp’s London FinTech programme advising some of the most interesting FinTech startups in Europe. Adding to this, Victor has extensive experience in the esports industry as a professional counterstrike player which recently led him to found view.it esports to help everyone get more out of the rapidly growing esports industry.

Sonja Stuchtey is one of the sector shaping social entrepreneurs in the German NGO world. After several years as strategic consultant with Booz. Allen & Hamilton and her first entrepreneurial foundation Nota Bene in areas as Digitalization and Telecommunication, she developed a teaching concept for natural sciences in early childhood that has changed science teaching in German schools.
The roll-out as a social franchise and the impact in the education system was recognised with several awards. She examined the conceptional deficits in the Human Resource development of the public sector as a PhD and is a well received speaker on issues like science teaching, entrepreneurship and leadership development and a strategic advisor for start-ups.
With more than 20 years’ experience in Telecommunication and Software industries, Issa brings a wealth of experience in Executive and Strategy Management. His skills in International business development contributed to multi-fold growth in Tier1 and Emergent Markets.
From Fortune 500 companies like Siemens, Cisco, and Nokia Siemens to SMEs, Issa has pioneered the leadership of regional sales, marketing and acquisition teams and his management was distinguished along the years by successful tactical and strategic achievements in the Telecom and IT market place.
At Redknee, Issa was appointed to lead the global business development initiatives in new markets including new sales, joint ventures, M&A, financing and partnerships in addition to crafting strategies that contribute to company’s growth and improve the bottom line. This global position has provided the opportunity to develop unique leadership skills to manage key relationships, processes, finances, projects and governance in North America and across numerous global and complex environments.
Most recently in the Fintech space, as a Chief Business Development & Strategy Officer, Issa has influenced the business evolution to new levels internationally. New go to market channels, partnerships tied with disruptive approaches are the main tools that Issa used to differentiate ChannelVas and transform the market challenges into opportunities.
An engineer by trade, Issa has a an MBA in Sales and Marketing, a Master of Professional Consulting, Master SIX SIGMA black belt and a bachelor of engineering degree in Computer and Communication.
Issa speaks six languages, engaged dynamically on coaching young leaders and startups in IoT and Fintech where he currently sits on the board of few. Equally, he is an active member of handful of NGOs such as Habitat for humanity among others.
